2025 Canaan Valley Resort Spring Retreat
Kick off spring with our getaway retreat in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia! Bring your sewing machine and quilting supplies for an exciting four days of demonstrations, gifts, giveaways, sharing and fun! Whether working on new projects or finishing older ones, you're sure to leave with work well done!
Mark your calendar and reserve your spot for Wednesday, March 26th, through Saturday, March 29th, at the picturesque Canaan Valley Resort in Davis, WV!
There will be options for retreat projects & precut kits (once registered you'll get emails from us!), daily demonstrations, and just plain fun with fellow quilters. Our goal is to facilitate an exclusive getaway at a fun venue that gifts you focused quilt time without your daily responsibilities.
The retreat package includes:
4 days of all the quilting and sewing you can fit in!
all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) from lunch on Wednesday through lunch on Saturday (does not include breakfast on Wednesday or dinner on Saturday but there is a restaurant just down the hall from the quilting room).
a 6-ft table for personal workspace - with access to extension cords and power strips.
shared ironing and cutting stations (you are also welcome to bring your own to have at your personal work station).
daily learning time with Kiri and Kelsie showing different quilting tools/tricks/things we love
fun daily gifts and giveaways!
We’ll kick off retreat with our first demo around 11 am followed by lunch at 12:30. Retreat events will finish up Saturday evening with show-and-tell, and then optional free time to sew as late as you like!
No overnight lodging is included with the retreat fee. The sewing room will be locked each night for the security of our supplies. Please contact Canaan Valley Resort for lodging reservations and other facility questions. The details from Canaan are below:

IMPORTANT NOTE: We accept cancellations until January 1st, 2025. After that there is a no-refund policy for retreat fees, even if registration was prior to 01/01/2025. However, you can gift your slot to others. Please contact the shop at 304-241-5645 for reservation questions or to pay in payments. Minimum $50 deposit is required to hold your spot, and retreat must be paid in full by Friday, February 21st.
